    Editorial & AI Policy

    Last updated: September 4, 2026

    WanderSparks combines personal travel experience, editorial research and selected artificial-intelligence tools.

    Human responsibility

    Content may be written or edited with the assistance of AI tools, but it is reviewed by the human creator of WanderSparks before publication.

    AI tools may assist with brainstorming, drafting, language, structure, research organisation and visual creation. Final editorial decisions remain human.

    Important travel information should always be independently verified with current and authoritative sources.

    Images

    WanderSparks uses a combination of:

    • original photographs;
    • AI-generated or AI-assisted images;
    • appropriately sourced third-party material.

    AI-generated images are illustrations and should not be understood as documentary photographs of actual places, people, events or current conditions unless clearly stated otherwise.

    Film-inspired AI images are unofficial editorial illustrations. They are not official posters, film stills or promotional materials.

    Books, films and third-party works

    Book covers and references to books, films or television series are used to identify and discuss the relevant works.

    Book-cover images obtained through Open Library should be credited with:

    “Book cover image via Open Library.”

    Copyright, trademarks and other rights in third-party works remain with their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

    Quotations and factual claims

    Named quotations should be published only when their wording and attribution can be verified through a credible source.

    Specific statistics and time-sensitive travel information should be supported by reliable sources or removed if they cannot be verified.
