    Ibiza, Spain

"Bohemian coves and legendary sunsets beyond the club scene"

Ibiza is more than the clubbing cliché — the north is quiet pine forest, hidden coves and hippie markets, and the whitewashed old town of Dalt Vila is UNESCO-listed. Come for the sunsets at Cala Comte, stay for the calas most day-trippers never find.

    Best Time to Visit

May, June and September for warm sea without August crowds

    May & Oct

Warm days, empty beaches, most restaurants open — the sweet spot for a calmer trip.

    Jun – Sep

Full clubbing season, packed beaches, warmest sea. Book everything months ahead.

    Nov – Apr

Very quiet, many resorts closed, but almond blossom in Feb and great for hiking and cycling.

    Getting Around

Ibiza is small — a rental car or scooter opens up every cove, while buses connect the main towns and beaches in summer.

    🚗 Rental Car

Best way to reach hidden calas down dirt tracks. Book weeks ahead in summer.

    🛵 Scooter

Great for solo travellers — easy parking at busy beaches like Cala Comte.

    🚌 Discobus & Local Buses

Cheap network between Ibiza Town, Sant Antoni, Santa Eulària and major beaches; night 'Discobus' serves the clubs in summer.

    ⛴️ Ferry to Formentera

30-min crossing from Ibiza Town — Formentera's beaches are worth the day trip.

💡 Never leave anything visible in a rental car at remote coves — smash-and-grabs at beach car parks are common in summer.

    Insider Tip

Rent a scooter or small car — the best coves are down unmarked dirt tracks, not on the bus route.
